We were in attendance at the Cardano Summit which was held in Berlin this year, with Day 0 at the w3.hub, and Day 1 and 2 at the Gasometer in Shoenenberg.
The summit is very professionally organised by the Cardano Foundation, both venues were great, and there was a lot of positive energy and news across the 3 days with a strong presence from the global community. The overall impression was of a maturing ecosystem with an increased focus on enterprise adoption, government and NGO opportunities, and accelerating startups within the ecosystem.

Some standout sessions included:
- Day 0 governance sessions run by Nicolas Cerny, Mike Hornan and Adam Rusch.
- ZenGate supply chain tracking with Palmyra with Winter protocol API that will allow the system to flexibly scale out
- Cardano Academy and Venture Hub which is being run in conjunction with DraperU.
- Expo session by James Meidinger on USDM stable coin development to improve liquidity, with a strong commercial focus, and a focus on getting the stable coin flywheel effect running on Cardano.
- NBX session covering USDM and MiCA compliant tokenisation of physical assets, specially Greenland Reserve Gemstones, which will also be extended to precious metals.
The updates from the Cardano Foundation and Emurgo were appreciated, as was the opportunity to discuss 1:1 with Foundation staff and attendees throughout the 3 days. We left with a stronger sense of the governance process that has been implemented, and some of the challenges still remaining to be tackled.
Sessions from the summit are available here, with registration already open for 2026 in Singapore.
